It is this time of the year again !
Galette des reines is back on the menu. You can order an individual portion for yourself or a large galette to share with your family, friends or colleagues.
Galette is a traditional puff pastry dessert served in early January in France and shared with family and friends. I love it so much that I will have it on the menu for the entire month of January.
Two options are available for you: Frangipane (almond cream) or Apple.
Please note that the ceramic "feve" is being replaced by a whole almond with praliné instead. Galette delivered in cake boxes without the traditional crown. This year, only one crown is available for all orders being dispatched throughout the month of January. The person finding the "feve" with the crown will win a voucher for two free lunches prepared by Marie et Marcelle (London deliveries only).
Ingredients:
Butter (Milk), Eggs, Flour (Wheat), Sugar, Powdered Sugar, Vanilla, Milk, Almonds Powder (Treenuts), Almonds, Salt. May contain traces of Other Nuts, Peanuts and Sesame.

Heating Recommendations:
This dessert can be warmed up before consumption. Recommended to warm up in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes at 160 degrees.
Storage Recommendations:
In the event you might have some left over (which I doubt you would), you can keep the galette in the fridge in an air tight container.
